If you don't already have a caterer or a menu in mind, ask the banquet hall if they provide catering or if they can refer you to a caterer for the gala. When selecting the menu, consider the entertainment and the time of the event. If it's being scheduled to last into the evening, you may want to also provide additional munchies and refreshments towards the end of the evening.
